Neighborhood Walmart gas prices in Hickory Hill below statewide average | Transportation

Gas prices have slipped recently in Memphis, and it's quite evident in the Hickory Hill community.

The neighborhood Walmart, near Mt. Moriah and the Hickory Hill/Ridgeway intersection, now has regular unleaded gas going for $3.34 a gallon. That's well below the statewide average in Tennessee of $3.56, according to www.aaa.com.

In recent days, this location's prices have remained pretty consistent, only getting up to $3.36 where it held for several days. That's been unusual in the current market that sees gas stations switching prices multiple times a day.
