Ailon Malone and Angela Merriweather weren't be home for the holidays as both are locked up at 201 Poplar.

Charged with running a prolific shoplifting scheme over the course of the month of December.

Police said the pair was caught in the act at this Sears on Poplar on Christmas Eve.

When security recognized them from previous incidents on December 11, 22 and 23.

Investigators working the case recognized Merriweather as the same woman wanted for stealing from a Hibbett on Hickory Hill and assaulting a store clerk who tried to stop her.

Police say she also admitted to swiping four TV's from Bargain Hunt too.

In all, she's charged with shoplifting more than $7,000 dollars in loot in December.

A third accomplice, Mark Williams, faces one theft charge as the accused getaway driver on Christmas Eve.
