A Sam's Club employee has been charged with theft after voiding transactions for customers and allowing them to exit the store without paying for items.
21-year-old Marterrious Delbridge was recorded voiding more than $8,000 between Nov. 5 and Dec. 8 on surveillance cameras and receipts.
According to the affidavit, in November Delbridge pulled two Apple ipads and a Nintendo 3DS for an unknown woman.
He then voided those items of merchandise and rang up grocery items so it seemed that the woman paid for all of the items.
A similar occurrence happened in the beginning of December as Delbridge pulled two more ipads and sold it to an unknown man.
He again voided the items and rang up different items that the man did not have so it appeared he paid for the ipads.
On Dec. 8, another incident happened where Delbridge voided out televisions to what appeared to be the same man who took the ipads.
The televisions were valued at $2,798.
