Accused stalker reportedly calls woman more than 4,000 times in a month | Crime
A Mid-South man is behind bars for aggravated stalking after reportedly making more than 4,000 phone calls to a woman in less than a month.
It all started in May when Darius Boykin was arrested for domestic assault charges against Tiffany Furlow.
He was released with bond conditions enjoining him from having any contact wtih her.
However, he was arrested later in the month after violating those conditions, he was then release on bond in September.
Between Sept. 16 and Oct. 8 Furlow claims Boykin has called her thousands of times.
Furlow reported the excessive phone calls to a Memphis police officer after Boykin showed up at her apartment in early October.
A couple of days after that Furlow went to the Domestic Violence Bureau and identified Darius Boykin in a photo.
She then provided documents that showed Boykin proceeded to call her 139 times between Oct. 6 and Oct. 9.
Furlow gave a written statement stating that she is extremely fearful that Boykin will harm her due to the fact that she had been shot and beaten by Boykin in the past.
Darius Boykin is charged with stalking and violation of bond conditions.
