Family awakes to home invasion | Crime
Police are searching for two men responsible for an early morning home invasion.
The men kicked open the front door of an apartment inside The Lakes at Ridgeway, near the intersection of Ridgeway and Ridgeline, around 3 a.m. Friday while a woman and four children were asleep inside.
The crooks forced the family into a bathroom at gunpoint while they ransacked the home.
Officers say the men took a laptop, jewelry, an iPod, three cell phones and three televisions.
Witnesses describe the first man as between 25 and 30-years-old, 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with an orange lining and his face was covered. The victims weren’t able to provide a description of the second crook.
