Election Day has come and gone, so have the long lines and most campaign signs. In the midst of all the voter complaints, problems, and issues, there are the bright spots of the political process.

I personally vote at Breath of Life Seventh Day Adventist Church on Knight Arnold in the Hickory Hill community. It's my second participation in an election in Memphis, and each time I was satisfied with the relatively quick process.

Tuesday, the day America re-elected it's first black president to a second term, the wait time for me to vote may have been about 10 minutes. Actually voting took just 5 minutes. After seeing all the chaos that unfolded at other polling places across the country, I can say Breath of Life is certainly a story that needs to be shared.
