23rd African American Read-In | Arts & Culture

The Memphis Public Library and Information Center joins the National Council of Teachers of English to celebrate African American Writers Sunday, February 26 at

10:00 am at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library. During the read-in children of all ages can participate in reading selections from the 2012 Coretta Scott King award books, along with a few old favorites from authors like the McKissacks and Virginia Hamilton.
