Did you put that you wanted to ‘try different things’ as one of your New Year’s Resolutions? Well, here’s a great chance to do something different at Shadowcon right here in the great city of Memphis.

This convention is similar to others of its kind where you come dressed up as your favorite character from any TV show or game.

And then on top of that, you can BE your character aka L.A.R.P-ing (Live Action Role Play).

Whether it’s Captain Kirk or Zorro come to Shadowcon where you can experience a different world.

If you don’t want to dress up come in ‘civilian’ clothes and interact with the vendors and learn about other groups during live panel discussions.

You can count on fencing tournaments, computer gaming, costume contests, belly dance lessons, auctions, D&D and art displays! Don’t miss the Friday night DJ dance and Saturday’s Belly dance party.
